On this album it is a mix of Celtic, rock and jazz. Particularly notable is a whistle/drum duet on Apothecary. Of the songs, One Last Drink, which owes a narrative debt to Finnegan's Wake is a standout as a great pub ballad. A more downbeat view of drinking is found on the melancholy, The Barfly. Two tracks set forth the bands anti-war stance - No More Stones and Marti’s Last Stand.
